Fisherman’s Press is an emerging Christ-centred magazine publishing new literary and artistic works. These prints will feature devotional literature, poetry, short fiction, reflective pieces and essays, that explore aspects of the Christian faith.

To be a Christian is countercultural. Our modern world has turned its face from Christ, instead retreating into an unsatisfying culture of secularism and individualism that leads only to dead-ends and counterfeit peace. Many have forgotten the ancient and original purpose, which is to pursue God and live in deep relationship with Him.

To encourage one another in our walk with and towards God, to honour Him in our artistic works and to share the depth and beauty of our faith – that is the intention of Fisherman’s Press.

SUBMIssions

We welcome submissions all year round! We publish all forms of new literary or visual works that explore some aspect of the Christian faith.

Please read our submission guidelines prior to sharing your work with us!

  • General submissions are open year-round, and will always be welcomed and free.

  • Fisherman’s Press will not accept any works that have been previously published in books, magazines or other publicly available sources due to copyright issues. However, we will accept works that have been previously self-published on personal social media platforms

  • Fisherman’s Press will not accept any works that have been wholly or partly produced by AI, as we see this as counterproductive to promoting the God-given human spirit

  • Multiple submissions are welcomed!

  • If you wish to revise or make adjustments to your work, please submit a new file on our webpage.
